I parked next to a new gray GT220 at Sutton Forrest Maccas on Sunday. Owner wasn't aware of this forum and was just going into his 3rd month of ownership. - Very happy.

On the first weekend I got my new LY Bumblebee, I decided to go to Masters in Knoxfield

When I came out a Blue GT220 parked right next to me.

We both bought our cars from the same dealer on Springvale Road

nope, did some testing, all crossover , wiring amp is all working, it is the program software from 3d arkamy, it can't be disable, dealership is willing to look at it for 24 this month, but don't think they will come back with any good result.... in driver mode is program for left hand drive, balance and vehicle mode front tweeter don't work, and Rear off, just front mid/bass driver on.. the only solution is to have arkamy re program a new firmware for all megane estate/tourer/wagon, because all car estate/tourer/wagon have the same problem, I emailed arkamy but with no reply at all, hopefully Renault do better, the other solution is to install a older version of the unit....? but the steering control is different

Yes the Arkamy DSP is non-adjustable.

Have a look over in the ICE sub-forum. There are copious threads complaining about it.

Two schools of thought: replace the headunit. Most common approach.

Use a processor like a Audison Bit-Ten to "de-equalise" the Arkamys effect. Some have had success with this, however it does seem that this method hasn't been successful for current model RS265's so the GT220 may be the same.

me dealership just logged the fault with Renault asutralia, the front tweeter actually affect all wagon/estate/touring, hopefully the willing to we do the firmware for the headunit for us right hand drive owner

Sorry for the threadbump. For wagon/GT220 owners, does changing the headunit to a Megane RS unit fix the tweeter issue?

Yes it does.

Just be sure Renault don't update the firmware on it.
