Rhys Hillman Posted 24, October 2010 Report Share Posted 24, October 2010 Hi all, Im the new proud owner of build number "1453" Megane R26, a couple little mods by the previous owner, Eibach 15mm lowered springs & what looks like a mandrel bend exhaust and a different resonator. (are these cutting off on screen for anyone else?) previous cars; - 1980 rs2000 mkII escort - 1989 BNR32 GTR - Toyota JZX100 Chaser - 2005 MkV VW Golf TDi i wanted something with more poke and handling than the golf but still offered some form of fuel economy for the daily treck to work - and the Megane ticked all the boxes. i'll try and coax the old man (username: Simon Hillman - L.E. RS200) into getting some pictures of the 2 cars together! a few Questions; - have any of you ever had the paint touched up, i know its a limited colour so how have you gone with prices and worksmanship?? - original R26 sticker pack? i would like to get the front and rear stickers again - who can i go through to grab these, is it a case of going back to a dealer? i've been browsing the forum for a while under the old mans user name so now i can finally get amongst it! cheers, Rhys

Pez Posted 24, October 2010 Report Share Posted 24, October 2010 Welcome Rhy's, R26 certainly tick those boxes. Perfect car for a country drive and the rest... R26 sticker packs, beware of some of the Ebay ones, I brought a R27 pack and it was sh*te. Nothing like original quality. Wolf's probably your man there. Wolf Posted 25, October 2010 Report Share Posted 25, October 2010 cheers guys, i've had a big look over ebay UK, AUS and US and only found R26.R packs so i'll have to see this Wolf fellow Well hello there...and a welcome aboard to you. As above, the cheap copies are on the net.. ebay.uk especially. But be aware, most times you get what you pay for. Having said that, you may still want to try 'cause the real ones are $$$...$ (one more for the road). If you keen, send me a direct email with: - Your name - Your VIN Both in the subject line. Just a little reminder in the actual email and i'll start looking into it for you. Enjoy. WOLF
