fastedz Posted 22, September 2011 Report Share Posted 22, September 2011 Hi all, well I'm now the very proud owner of a shiny new rs Monaco, and it's a little beauty! Will post some pics when she is properly detailed. Anyone know good detailers in Adelaide?...

Apex Posted 22, September 2011 Report Share Posted 22, September 2011 Well done! It's brand new, can't need to much of a detail!

Honest Gaza Posted 22, September 2011 Report Share Posted 22, September 2011 Well done! It's brand new, can't need to much of a detail! That part has me confused too

Dish Posted 23, September 2011 Report Share Posted 23, September 2011 If it was delivered by the clown that did Jen's car, then I would imagine it would need a detail! Mate, congrats on the purchase, and welcome to OzRS
Apex Posted 23, September 2011 Report Share Posted 23, September 2011 But Jen's car is a F1, and they have paint susceptible to scratching if anything harsher than air is used to clean them.

DanSA Posted 23, September 2011 Report Share Posted 23, September 2011 Welcome to our first SA RS250 owner I think? Hope to see you around mate, I have only ever seen one RS250 on Adealdie roads so far... Exclusive Dan
Danny Posted 23, September 2011 Report Share Posted 23, September 2011 Welcome. I understand about the detail. The first thing I did was have my 250 paint corrected. It's a good idea. Dan.
fastedz Posted 23, September 2011 Author Report Share Posted 23, September 2011 Well done! It's brand new, can't need to much of a detail! My wife picked it up from the dealer for me and never looked over it the way I would have. It still has pieces of the protective wrap stuck on the glass roof and the rubber around the windows! Thanks for the welcome peeps.

RBH58 Posted 26, September 2011 Report Share Posted 26, September 2011 Got to sit in one of the weekend and whilst I absolutely love the roof...and if it were an option on the RS250 I would have ticked it...I'm not sure there is anything else about it that would draw me in over the Trophee model. I'm definitely unsure about the gloss white interior trim, and the whilst I think the RS Monitor is 90% :wanker: , it's worth it for the throttle mapping feature...which I understand you lose on the Monaco. Plus, I like my Recaros although I could understand somebody prefering the standard seats. Still, these things don't detract from a great car...and I do love that roof.
