speedfiend41 Posted 7, April 2012 Report Posted 7, April 2012 Evening all! Last week my black R26 F1 finally arrived on a transport from Perth - and I absolutely love it! Sold my 3.0 GTV V6 to get it and not at all disappointed. Doesnt sound as good as the V6 (what does??) but bloody hell does it handle and stop well! Looks the biz too. Being an obsessive clean freak isn't a good thing when you've got a black car - washed it 5 times in the first week. I'll browse the forum for more info on these gorgeous cars before I start hitting you up for tips. Thanks for having me. Quote
chiapoco Posted 7, April 2012 Report Posted 7, April 2012 ahh good work speed! When you next can.. show us some piccies.. be good to see what it would look like after 5 washes in the week! Quote
nemz Posted 7, April 2012 Report Posted 7, April 2012 Welcome and congrats on the purchase! I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Alfas despite their dynamic shortcomings. The R26 addresses that Quote
walkie86 Posted 7, April 2012 Report Posted 7, April 2012 Welcome mate. Nice choice with the R26 and very rare in black! Enjoy the cleaning Quote
Eire Posted 8, April 2012 Report Posted 8, April 2012 Welcome, great choice im enjoying mine more every time i drive it Quote
Dish Posted 8, April 2012 Report Posted 8, April 2012 Congrats and welcome! Don't forget to add your details to this list viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6274 Quote
speedfiend41 Posted 8, April 2012 Author Report Posted 8, April 2012 Yeah I'm really happy with my black beauty. Was always partial to the yellow especially after seeing a Clio R27 up close, but the black seems to suit the lines of the Megane so well. When it's clean (which is always - because I am an anal freak), with those gorgeous red Brembo's peeking out through the front wheels - awesome! I've taken lots of photos, I'll load a few when I get a chance. Quote
Wolf Posted 20, April 2012 Report Posted 20, April 2012 Welcome aboard. Pics when you can and take good care of your beast. 5 washes in a week?!... that's got to be some kind of record. WOLF Quote

walkie86 Posted 21, April 2012 Report Posted 21, April 2012 Photobucket is sh*t and Flickr you need to sign up for an account (though it is infinitely awesome and I use it). If you plan to take and share lots of photos I'd go for a Flickr account as it keeps them all together. Quote
chiapoco Posted 22, April 2012 Report Posted 22, April 2012 ^ never used photobucket myself but Flickr does a good job at keeping photo quality together at the very least Don't ever upload to facebook Quote
speedfiend41 Posted 22, April 2012 Author Report Posted 22, April 2012 Worked it out, some pics in members rides. Quote
Wolf Posted 24, April 2012 Report Posted 24, April 2012 Use photobucket myself... yet to need any use of toilet paper. Quote
deshb Posted 26, April 2012 Report Posted 26, April 2012 Congrats on your acquisition! The RS250 is an awesome piece of kit, great choice! Quote
