Issues with PM's

Hi guys,

 

I seem to be having issues with PM's

 

I'm sending them, and they are not sending at all, merely saving in the outbox. It says nothing about a full inbox or outbox stopping me from sending/recieving either. Sent a PM to a couple members and they did not get them. The PM's just stay in my outbox and that is it!

It only leaves the outbox once the receiver reads the email. (sorry if you already knew this)

 

Did you confirm with them that they didn't get it?

Portal is correct.

 

The sent message sits in your out box until the recipient acknowledges it (by opening it).

 

Often members are active on the forum, but don't necessarily read their messages, which can add to the confusion.

 

Just wait for them to log on, and read your messages. In time, it will all be fine......

Personally, I don't like the PM system.

 

It should just be placed in a "sent items" folder and be done with.

 

I don't think people need to know when someone has read their msg. Just my opinion.

I believe you can - I know you can edit them (or at least it gives you the option to).

Nevermind, too late. Sorry for the confusion, those who I pmed from my mates account. Setting up a new Mac for him and got a bit confused.

It may be a bit late, but you can delete messages in your outbox.
