bigtoy Posted 3, May 2010 Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Hey! I'm an owner of an R26 for about 12 months now, and have finally come to post to the forum. Hello to all. Lovely car, touch wood, and having fun finding all those quirky touches that seem peculiar to French cars. Very happy to post here. Regards. walkie86 Posted 3, May 2010 Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Welcome James! Where abouts are you located?
bigtoy Posted 3, May 2010 Author Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Man, that was quick! Wollongong based, (I think one of two Victory Yellows). No photos to post just yet - I've been pretty tardy in that respect. James
bigtoy Posted 3, May 2010 Author Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Is it okay to ask about recommended mechanics for this car? Say, in Sydney? If so, where do I post that question? The car is coming up to the end of it's warranty and I'd like someone to got through it and advise any likely fixes while still under warranty. Moosey Posted 3, May 2010 Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Some nice R26 roads down your way. Would love to see you on a South Coast run some time. Will let the other guys answer on the mechanical recommendations, or check the appropriate section in the forum and you'll find your answers. Welcome to ozRS! Pez Posted 3, May 2010 Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 I'll look out for you bigtoy, I live in the Gong as well. I have noticed that R26 around town, older gent driving it with some exhaust sticker on rear window. Is that you? Maybe, he isn't that old, just distinguished. Andy C Posted 3, May 2010 Report Share Posted 3, May 2010 Welcome James, More RSM's in and around the Sydney area are never enough! Hopefully see you on a run sometime ... once I get my license back. Watch out for the copper hiding in the bushes in the RNP ...

Jeffie Posted 5, May 2010 Report Share Posted 5, May 2010 I feel like Im the only African R26 going around! Please let me know how you get on with this service because my 3 year is due. I would like to know how much it ends up based on time not KMs.
bigtoy Posted 5, May 2010 Author Report Share Posted 5, May 2010 I'll let you know how the end of warranty inspection/service turns out; it's scheduled for later this month. The avatar looks almost like an alien, especially when you view it upside down. Granted this is not easy to do when it's on a computer monitor Thanks to all.
