Mase Posted 16, July 2008 Report Share Posted 16, July 2008 Hi - I am finding I can't log on from home anymore. I can see any other website except OZrs wehere I get a generic connectivity issue notification on my PC. The same circumstances prevail on all three of my computers. I can't think of why this may be the case other than it being a issue with my ISP or the website itself? Any ideas? I'm starting to think my wife did something Thanks, Jamie
Dish Posted 17, July 2008 Report Share Posted 17, July 2008 Hey mate, Can you post up a screen dump please? (or email it to me)
rmadrid-182 Posted 17, July 2008 Report Share Posted 17, July 2008 Mase, Try getting ot OZRS using the IP address instead of the DNS name http://72.34.32.244/ If this works, someone's playing around with the DNS or maybe your local hosts file on your computer. Mase Posted 17, July 2008 Author Report Share Posted 17, July 2008 Thanks guys. The screen displays the usual Internet Explorer screen when you lose connectivity. There appears to be no clues there. Thanks Riz - will give this a try suggestion later at home.

puncher Posted 17, July 2008 Report Share Posted 17, July 2008 Ive think I know what your experiencing. Ive had that quite a few times. Maybe half a dozen or so over a year. I find that I can't log onto the sight, you keep refreshing the page or restarting the pc but it does'nt help. But ive found that if I don't log on for a little while, say half an hour, at a later time it comes good. Strange. I can't work it out. But it usually comes good so I haven't bothered to try and diagnose it. Cheers Steve.
portal Posted 17, July 2008 Report Share Posted 17, July 2008 If it was happening on 3 computers, the only things they have in common are your ISP, and your router.

We'll leave out any suggestion of sabots being thrown into the workings.... sabots? is that Perthinian? aha, got ya, a sabot is a wooden shoe worn by French peasants in the 18th and 19th century. Come the industrial revolution some peasants decided to stick it up the man and used to toss their sabots into the machinery, hence the term "sabotage". biologist Posted 18, July 2008 Report Share Posted 18, July 2008 well you learn something everyday! lucky they didn't decided to throw in their rags... oh yeah, then we'd have chants like "nude up for the revolution!" or "viva la nude!" could be worse....
