spedwards Posted 9, April 2017 Report Posted 9, April 2017 (edited) Hi all, I'm a new 2013 Megane RS 265 Trophy+ owner and after a few recent RS convoys thought I'd say Hi. I love the car, I had lined up a number of hot hatches for test drive but after driving a 2011 250 Trophee I knew that it had to be a Megane. Cheers Edited 9, April 2017 by spedwards 12 Quote
slippers Posted 9, April 2017 Report Posted 9, April 2017 Nice. I have the same model except with the natural finish Steevs. Thanks for the photos, I have been thinking about painting the steevs black as I have always liked black wheels on white cars. Cheers. 1 Quote
spedwards Posted 9, April 2017 Author Report Posted 9, April 2017 I'm loving the black on white look but cleaning with brushes has been a pain as it's hard to see the brake dust / dirt when wet. I'll need to invest in some wheel pre-cleaner to bring them up properly. Quote
chuckovski Posted 9, April 2017 Report Posted 9, April 2017 Great choice. Recaros or normal seats? Sent from my HTC One X9 dual sim using Tapatalk 1 Quote
spedwards Posted 9, April 2017 Author Report Posted 9, April 2017 Just the normal Trophy+ seats, can't wait until the temps drop and I can test out the seat heaters! Quote
bugster70 Posted 10, April 2017 Report Posted 10, April 2017 Looks really good, but I'm possibly a little biased (having a white Trophy+ myself, with black wheels)! The previous owner of my car also had the Renault badges plasti-dipped black and other chrome badges removed, which I reckon really cleaned it up and took the black on white look a little further. On seats, it's getting cold in Canberra and my family were amazed (actually, horrified) to learn that I actively chose the Recaros over the standard seats, especially when I told them that the standard seats were heated! Oh well, there's always my wife's car if they insist on going in something with heated seats (she even has a heated steering wheel, go figure). 2 Quote

slippers Posted 10, April 2017 Report Posted 10, April 2017 I had heated seats in my E46 and really liked it on the lowest setting. However, I cant say the same for the Meg. I find even the lowest setting in the Meg to be too hot, even on the coldest July mornings. 1 Quote
spedwards Posted 10, April 2017 Author Report Posted 10, April 2017 I've got a bad habit of knocking the adjustment wheel getting into/out of the car so have already started to experience the warmth at inappropriate times. Quote
Cysporin Posted 11, April 2017 Report Posted 11, April 2017 baked potatoes! cool car mate i cant wait to be a megane owner myself soon! 1 Quote

spedwards Posted 18, June 2017 Author Report Posted 18, June 2017 My seat memory stopped working for a short time but came good with no action taken, a little strange but I've read about other people having a similar problem and resolution. Quote
