Dish Posted 15, October 2014 Report Share Posted 15, October 2014 Come to think of it walkie, I'll delete that thread since most of that info is well and truly outdated. apple3337, to answer your question, use the tags either side of an image link (without spaces) and it should then appear in your post. The link can be from almost any source. I now upload many of my pics to facebook and even if set to private they will appear here. Any further questions, please ask. apple3337 Posted 23, October 2014 Author Report Share Posted 23, October 2014 I tried the above using flickr and it didn't work (maybe I did something wrong.) I just uploaded my image as an attachment. That worked.
walkie86 Posted 23, October 2014 Report Share Posted 23, October 2014 Flickr puts your image link in tags for you already: - look for the little arrow/share photo link and a box will pop up. - Select BBCode and your size - Copy the link - Paste it in your OZRS post That's it. timelord9 Posted 16, December 2014 Report Share Posted 16, December 2014 just checking that there is no file upload option in the "post reply" screen, and that all images need to be hosted elsewhere? sorry for the dumb question, couldn't really find an answer anywhere else. timelord9 Posted 16, December 2014 Report Share Posted 16, December 2014 for some reason I don't have an "upload attachment" option. I'm using Chrome on OSX. Never had no issues with PHPBB photo uploads before. 'praps I'll try from tapatalk...
timelord9 Posted 16, December 2014 Report Share Posted 16, December 2014 No dice from tapatalk either... "Your forum has disabled image sharing from this app" Hardly seems possible
walkie86 Posted 16, December 2014 Report Share Posted 16, December 2014 No dice from tapatalk either... "Your forum has disabled image sharing from this app" Hardly seems possible When you click on reply in tapatalk, press the 3 dots on the right and try changing your setting for photo sharing. griffyn Posted 18, December 2014 Report Share Posted 18, December 2014 Hello, Doctor. You're still a potential spammer according to our VERY conservative forum rules, with only 5 posts. The option will open up when your status changes to "newbie"
timelord9 Posted 18, December 2014 Report Share Posted 18, December 2014 Ahhh. I suspected as much, but couldn't for the life of me find the "forum rules" post anywhere. Oh well, never mind about the tutorial I was going to put up on stripping and repainting interior dash parts using plastidip in my recently purchased Meg 2. I guess I'll have to go back to my day job selling ONLINE VIAGRA CHEAP or those MAGIC FUEL PIILLS that get you 30 % more horsepower or something. I assume I'll get a letter in the post from the admin secretary when I'm allowed to fully participate in forum activities?
