That seems quite a bit. How does that feel from the drivers seat? Not super knowledgeable about unsprung weight changes so thought I’d ask. I’ve stock 182 Cup rims on my 172. I’m a fan of the look.

Are there any left? Curious to know what they look like.

Thought I’d pop this one up which I’ve enjoyed before here in the ‘newbies’ as I’d expect a few new members would be in 172/182’s and for those who came along after RenaultSport added forced induction to the line up in Australia .. what you have missed out on if you are in a recent Clio IV or Meg >> Its quite the experience.

Ah good it’s not just me then. In my messing about I upgraded TT to the paid ver. I’ll down grade and wait it out.

Tapatalk seems to have booted me off the forum .. oh well hope this works. There’s some good build threads here. Check out Ace and Clio43 and a few others. Lots of time, intelligence, effort, experience and money put into their cars.

I’d say ignore selector shaft leak. It’s nothing really important. Take a few years to lower the gear box oil level. Just change it every now and again eg 4-5 years. Of course if is really running that’s another thing [emoji846] bit never really heard of this. I think it all gets down to history and who looked after the car. Mine is a 2002 into my keeping 2005. It’s in excellent condition and presents very well for a 16-17 year old car and still goes very well which when you think about it is pretty amazing. It’s because I look after it. Hard to find one owned for 13 odd years. I’d go with a higher price car from the forum with a owner with a high post count. ‘Virtually’ guarantees a quality car as their presence in the ‘community’ carries value. Try this. Can’t hurt. Turn to past accessories but not to engine crank then off again. Then turn to start car normally. See if that makes a difference to the no start problem. Don’t rush it tho. Just eliminating if it’s the two key turn issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
