63x1092 Posted 28 April Report Share Posted 28 April All the same little shite things go wrong as with the 250, 265 and the main thing as per usual is timing belt. The only problems that I’ve fixed lately playing with Meglll’s now is, expansion bottles crack on top, auto door lock/open, engine mounts, electric hand brake and sensitive batteries. Yes, I do have a silver GT 220 listed at present and with the second hand market at the moment, come over and have a look and make a silly offer as you never know. It depends on your expectations. The timing belt service is the main regular service item which is expensive. Your profile says you drive a Mazda 3, if you are expecting a Renault Sport product to cost the same for regular servicing and any major repairs needed, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. For example, if you need a new clutch and flywheel at some point, this is typically $2500+ (unless you source the parts and do the work yourself). Bear in mind that not only are you going from Japanese to Euro, but also non-sport to sport.

I’m aware of everything I’m just trying to outsource the biggest expenses I might have to face in terms of maintains , btw the wagon I went to inspect was dodgy at least to be said … so I’m still on the hunt …
