  1. Welcome mate. Very tidy 182 there. Fantastic colour too.
  2. dartology

    Old fart BNE

Nice turnaround on what would probably be a bit of a disapointing weekend mate. Well done.
  3. +1 for e-go - recently shipped from MEL to Launceston and it took about 4 days and cost approx $130 depot to depot (door-to-door is an option but that'll cost more) for a set of 17" wheels with tyres. I packaged them myself using free boxes from Bunnings and wrapped up nice and securely with some plastic wrapping over the top. it wasn't too much hassle and they arrived safe and sound.

    New toy.

Welcome mate! Which track day is happening in March?
  5. Welcome mate! It's a pretty active community for an online forum which is great to see. Can we see some pics of your car? Keen to see it. The orange is a great colour on them.
  6. Looking great in black-on-black mate. Welcome to the club.
  7. Very nice mate! Where did you purchase that one from?
  8. Great colour @Marcus36 they look so good in red.
  9. Congrats. Let’s see some pics!
  10. Welcome mate! Love the DC2R - One day I'll have one in the garage. I've recently come across from VWs to RS and I'm loving the change!
  11. I think you're right. I have had them since my first car, however it's nice to try new things. I just got rid of my '76 Swallowtail on the weekend actually. Sad to see that go after so long but no progress was made, and it'll be worked on now at least. Do Victorian Renault owners get together for a catch up semi-regularly?
  12. I feel fortunate that they like the car a lot, but want something a little different again, with 4 doors. Lucky to hopefully be able to get it soon (fingers crossed). It's just a far more interesting car than the equivalent GTI Golf. Tons more character, more power, and better brakes and handling.
  13. Hello team, My name is Matt and I live in Melbourne. I've mostly been driving Volkswagens (I am on VWWatercooled) but have recently bought an old Civic to fix up and moved into a new job. A Colleague has a Megane II and after a few drives I was really impressed. The plan is to purchase the car as soon as they figure out the car they want to replace it with. This is a great looking forum you've got. Looking forward to learning more and hopefully becoming a Renault owner soon.
