I've used vent mounts before, but I'm concerned about damaging the vents. Can you send through some picture so i can make a better decision as the standard GPS is just not going to cut it for me. Can get mounts that go in various places specifically designed for the car. You then by the actual phone mount that bolts to the vehicle mount. I had this setup in a previous car and was great. I wouldn't recommend the one that goes on the Pillar as it loses its tension and falls off. The one on the dashboard next to the vent was ok . Currently using a magnetic mount.
