The top of the grills are flat on phase 1, they point down towards the number plate on the phase 2 to form a "V"

Dish Posted 12, April 2011 Report Share Posted 12, April 2011 Hi and welcome! The chunky wheels you refer to are on the 225 Luxe - all the Cup models had the thinner spoked wheels. Enjoy

m0nk3y Posted 13, April 2011 Author Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 besides the grill, front bar and headlights, any other difference between the p1 and p2? i've read theres some suspension improvements too?
portal Posted 13, April 2011 Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 I would go for a phase II, switchable TC. Phase I is permanently on. 225 Cup Phase II would be my pick. Harder suspension but handle really well.
cooper Posted 13, April 2011 Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 besides the grill, front bar and headlights, any other difference between the p1 and p2? i've read theres some suspension improvements too? Imho The biggest differences are between cup and non cup models. Cup models get several hardware upgrades that make the car a much better performer. Differences between ph1 and ph2 cars are largely cosmetic. I would much rather a ph1 cup than a ph2 non cup.
m0nk3y Posted 13, April 2011 Author Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 Only reason Im not looking at a Cup right now is that its out of my budget of 20k This p1 non cup Lux is going for 17k
m0nk3y Posted 13, April 2011 Author Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 btw, this is the one i'm looking at this weekend. ad says phase 2 with the Lux pack (chunky rims + leather) - without the facelift though as its a 2005 model just a pic i found on a UK site, but its the same colour i'm looking at. 5dr as well. Wolf Posted 13, April 2011 Report Share Posted 13, April 2011 Best of luck with it...hope it works out. Cup may be better etc, but absolutely nothing wrong getting one of these for 17k. Any warranty etc? Cheers, WOLF

Ph2 Cup, limited edition and all! http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/pri ... 20matchany Or Martys - http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/pri ... 20matchany I honestly think your worth spending a few more upfront for a newer or cup model... keep in mind a big service on these can be 2-3K if belts and brakes are needed so you also need to consdier that into your purchase decision.
