There is class action lawsuit against Renault 1.2 engines. Check the web for details. You may be eligible for replacement
  2. 2016 is probably phase 2 facelift that have been improved. I would check service history, paying attention to gearbox oil change. Buying used cars is always a lottery no matter how good reputation thay have. Get mechanic to inspect the car before hand. Ask Renotech for opinion
  3. Could be lower engine mount. Needs to be tightened with lots of torque.
  4. If you look at the sticker on the door it tells you the recommended sizes of wheels and tyres. Deet gave you specifications. PCD is not negotiable. Offset - +/- 2 won't give you problems providing you don't go to wider tyres than 215.
  5. Clock the heart button 😂
  6. I would stay with Varta battery but any AGM should do. As for gearbox oil I prefer Motul Multi DCT. I change it every 10 000 km same as engine oil.
  7. No need to drop the oil if is not to dirty. But it's good idea. I had a chatter somewhere and I wasn't sure if it's timing chain or valves. One week after treatment it was gone.
  8. Get this product and run for a week or two before you start further investigations. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/nulon-nulon-lifter-free-and-tune-up---300ml/104058.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_Yvi786Q-AIVf5JmAh0MSAoREAQYASABEgKe2PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  9. Interesting. I was looking at these: https://titansuspension.com.au/products/renault-clio-4th-gen-rs-200-titan-sp-3-coilover-suspension-kit?rq=mk_renault~md_clio-rs200~yr_2012-2018
  10. I'm very disappointed with Bilstein B14. I would look for something with adjustments like above mentioned MCA, AST, KW
  11. Is there any difference between R-Link and MediaNav facia? I thought that outside they are the same, just innards are different.
  12. Torque Pro app cost about $5 in app store. Add Bluetooth OBD adapter from eBay and you have universal tool for any car. It will read and reset faults. It won't be as precise as dedicated or professional scanner but for DIY is good enough
