murcod Posted 23, October 2006 Report Share Posted 23, October 2006 Hi all, I've been lurking around here for a few months now researching and saving money. Tonight I took delivery of my latest drive- a 2005 RenaultSport Clio 182 Cup with only 9500km and in near perfect condition. It's French Racing Blue with the Gordini stripes and larger rear spoiler - from what I can work out like the F1 LE but without the badging? I'm looking forward to many pleasureable km's of driving. Cheers, David.

murcod Posted 23, October 2006 Author Report Share Posted 23, October 2006 Thanks guys. It's been a long time coming but everything worked out just right for me (only got rid of our other car two weeks ago.) I'll post pics soon - yes it's Renault 123's car. I couldn't believe it when I saw one advertised as they are extremely rare in SA. It's in amazing condition too, a real credit to Renault 123. I'm a former Peugeot 306S16 owner and have been missing the handling since I sold it in 2000. I think the Clio will do nicely as a replacement and have a bit of power to go with the handling- unlike the S16!
Teki04 Posted 23, October 2006 Report Share Posted 23, October 2006 It's been a long time coming but everything worked out just right for me Your telling me! You've been contemplating the purchase of a Clio for months now, I think? Great to hear it all worked out though, and that finally your back into the French cars! Glad you've got one mate! Sure beats the S16 and the other car.... Mondeo ST24 Cheers, Steve

Sunbeam Posted 24, October 2006 Report Share Posted 24, October 2006 Enjoy it in the Adelaide Hills , Crafers and Tapley's, Chain of Ponds. I fondly remember them all (prior to the Hills freeway!). Have fun it's made for those roads.
