Bike in rear of clio

Hi guys

I'm close to buying a Clio RS cup IV, coming from a VW golf. I usually put mymountain bike with the front wheel off in the rear of the golf.

Assuming id do that again with the clio, does anyone know if a mountain bike will fit in the rear, with only the front wheel off?

Thanks

I had a 90tce Clio IV and managed to EASILY fit a fixed gear bike in the back with 700cc rims , largish sized road bike frame etc.. and front wheel off....   I think you'd have no issue fitting a mtn bike in the back.  Seats flat down, etc.    I had a pic but couldnt find on old thread.

I used to fit a 29" duallie into the back of a VW Up!  Mind you, the front passenger seat was all the way forward and tilted towards the dash (unusable).  Now with a Clio, I can fit the same bike in the back with the passenger seat in a normal position.  So it's easily done.  Front wheel off, obviously.

@Jake , don't the new MK4 Clio's have a roof rack holders? , my MK3 has special things on the roof that raise up and you can use that i am sure to put a roof rack of some sort on it. never tried and i have no idea the official name for what i am referring to but happy to take pic's.

if its the case with the MK4 like my MK3 just put it on the roof?
