RS4EDC Posted 2, June 2019 Report Share Posted 2, June 2019 Hey fellas, I know the location of the turbo on my Clio RS 200 is at the very back of the engine near the firewall but you can’t really see it. I think it is covered by the metal cover which is hiding the turbo is this correct? And if I take the cover off and leave it off will that give it better air flow? Anyone leaves theirs off? eight Posted 2, June 2019 Report Share Posted 2, June 2019 It is a heat shield. It protects engine bay from getting to much heat. Nothing to do with airflow. Sent from Tapatalk

davidc Posted 2, June 2019 Report Share Posted 2, June 2019 You would want to keep the turbo warm for faster spooling.
RS4EDC Posted 4, June 2019 Author Report Share Posted 4, June 2019 Ok thank you. Another question is it hard to hear my turbo spoolin? I have never heard the turbo spool and was wondering is that normal? My car is stock by the way.
Deet Posted 4, June 2019 Report Share Posted 4, June 2019 Yes. There can be a slight whine when the car is cold. But otherwise you wont hear it This car is more about the “go” than the “show”
