Turbo on Clio IV RS 200

Recommended Posts

Hey fellas,

I know the location of the turbo on my Clio RS 200 is at the very back of the engine near the firewall but you can’t really see it.

I think it is covered by the metal cover which is hiding the turbo is this correct? And if I take the cover off and leave it off will that give it better air flow? Anyone leaves theirs off?

It is a heat shield. It protects engine bay from getting to much heat. Nothing to do with airflow.

Ok thank you.

Another question is it hard to hear my turbo spoolin? I have never heard the turbo spool and was wondering is that normal? My car is stock by the way.

Yes. There can be a slight whine when the car is cold. But otherwise you wont hear it

This car is more about the “go” than the “show”
