quinnsdude Posted 26, December 2013 Report Posted 26, December 2013 Well...looks like i'll be moving here from the UK in 2014 and I'm going to be bringing my 182. What is the support like here in Perth? Any ren sport specialists?? Thanks Quote
Numbnut Posted 26, December 2013 Report Posted 26, December 2013 Welcome Quinn! We have a few WA members that can point you in the right direction. Any pics and details of your 182 you'd like to share Quote
Renmat Posted 27, December 2013 Report Posted 27, December 2013 Hi and welcome! Plenty of 182s here so support is no problem. Don't know when you are intending to migrate but if you can wait 12 months you might want to consider bringing in a V6 instead ... Quote
wade Posted 30, December 2013 Report Posted 30, December 2013 Or any car that is worth money over here.....sell it and then buy another 182 (they are quite cheap) I've heard RS4's are pretty cheap over there ...... Quote
U-Vox Posted 31, December 2013 Report Posted 31, December 2013 welcome, we will get you out on a run when we get round to organising it Quote
s9810588 Posted 31, December 2013 Report Posted 31, December 2013 Another vote to bring in a Clio V6 into the country! Or a Meteor Grey Audi RS3 with manual gearbox please! Probably too late though because you must have owned the car for over 12 months for personal import. Quote
griffyn Posted 31, December 2013 Report Posted 31, December 2013 I'd love to see a gen 1 twingo here, but I am a bit weird. Quote
deshb Posted 2, January 2014 Report Posted 2, January 2014 Hi there! Newbies always welcome And there's a healthy RS following here in Perth so don't fret! Looking forward to meeting you when you get here Quote
quinnsdude Posted 6, January 2014 Author Report Posted 6, January 2014 What on earth? Everyone on the uk cliosport.net are very negative saying there are no cliosport specialists out there?? Quote
Moosey Posted 6, January 2014 Report Posted 6, January 2014 We're one of the largest RS markets in the world here now. The RS scene is still relatively small but you will find people here who can look after your little beasty. And +1 for a Clio V6 or Spider please Quote
Quadrastu Posted 6, January 2014 Report Posted 6, January 2014 Last I heard Australia was the 2nd largest market for Rs.........only to be beaten by Ze Germans..!!! Well they do have "the ring". The dealer and specialist network is tiny compared to the uk but by comparison the uk will fit in a corner of Qld alone. This forum (there might be others) is way better than any of the uk ones as it's not full of 12yr olds thinking a K&N on a 1.2 will beat the world. I've been on here a short time and it seems full of genuine enthusiasts wanting to help/advise as best they can, I feel it's a good community to get involved in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
