Aitch Posted 10, January 2006 Report Share Posted 10, January 2006 A bloke called Anthony ******* put his card under my wiper with the web address on it. I've got 68/85 of the original RS Clios. Metallic Blue. REN 00H (I couldn't resist). Nice to have a forum to sort the niggles, I've had a few. I love the car, just need to get my wife out of it............ Aitch Posted 10, January 2006 Author Report Share Posted 10, January 2006 I knew there must be some fellow 'enthusiasts' out there. I'm in Balmain in Sydney and there are quite a few RS Clios around. Mine seems to be the only original Clio Cup though. It replaced a series 1 205 GTi. I'd wanted to put the Mi16 motor in it but the body-shell was breaking up. I got lucky on the waiting list for the Clio, some bloke had ordered it and didn't have the readies. Got my first ticket on the way back from the dealer. storms_of_fate Posted 10, January 2006 Report Share Posted 10, January 2006 I see you fairly often on the drive home. You seem to turn off just before ironcove bridge?

It was me who left my card on your car. I have your twin, well one of them anyway as there were a few MkI's that came in blue. Great to see that you made it onto the forum. So do you swim at the pool or gym it at the rowers? I was heading for the pool when I saw your car. Didn't have any forum promo cards so I threw my business card your way. I've owned two 205's - a 1992 Si here and a 1988 1.6 GTi while living in the UK - so there you go! And yes, their build quality makes the RSC look pretty good - a rare thing for sure . Aitch Posted 10, January 2006 Author Report Share Posted 10, January 2006 All good. It was my wife who was at the pool. Her elderly Audi 80 V6 has blown a head gasket. Have hardly seen the Clio for a week. I want to talk to the brains trust about a few issues. Will go to appropriate thread. Thanks for the card Moosey!
