woodsy Posted 7, February 2010 Report Share Posted 7, February 2010 Hi, this is the first forum I have joined, so go gentle with me! I have a red 2001 convertible megane, had Maddy for a couple of years now and bought her because shes not like all the other cars on the road. My experience hasn't been all that sweet, timing belt went, ripped off by car yard and now I have trouble with the roof. Had to open it manually after stuffing it up half way during the opening process, now cant seem to get it working again. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem and could point me in the right direction to get it fixed here in Perth without having to sell one of my kids? Hope you are all enjoying you summer Regards Woodsy
CHRIS-172 Posted 7, February 2010 Report Share Posted 7, February 2010 Welcome! I'm sure there will be some on here with megane cc knowledge. As for Perth Renault specialists... Ozsport, bio or pk should be able to give u some names.. Enjoy the forum, great bunch that makes renault ownership that bit more special. Corrado at Eurocare in Burswood has never let me down and worked on about 15 of my Frogmobiles over the years. He can be contacted on 93552712. Another one I have heard great things about but never used is Steve at Eurotec on 0449 000 660. He only does mobile I believe. Mark Dyson @ Euromotives is also very good but I heard he is only servicing existing customers at the moment. Other option is to try a good trimmer. I have always used Crawfords in East Perth. Best of luck in any case. Cheers, Justin.

Wolf Posted 7, February 2010 Report Share Posted 7, February 2010 Wecome Woodsy, Lament very much your trials and tribulations with the CC. Seems the dealer did a number on you as most would push for the belts to be done before getting the keys. Never the less, hope someone here will quickly point you in the right direction, and the best i can do is help source the parts if and when needed. Hopefully it's a mechanical issue that wont cost you an offspring as you said. Truly the best of luck, and hope it'll be a long time between any future issues. Cheers, WOLF
Moosey Posted 7, February 2010 Report Share Posted 7, February 2010 Welcome! Have always pondered the pleasure of an F4R, coilovered, turini'd conversion of an early cabrio
