cooper Posted 1, October 2008 Report Share Posted 1, October 2008 Just wondering how come some people have large avitars, that seem to be bigger than the specified 80*80 pixel restriction? Is there away of reducing the pixel size of a digital image that isn't directly related to image size? This comes about because I found an image I would like as my avitar but I when I reduce it to the limited size it is to small I noticed mr P's aviatar is quite big and an animation, so there must be some sort of trick involved. cheers
griffyn Posted 1, October 2008 Report Share Posted 1, October 2008 If you host your avatar externally, you can get away with a larger pixel size You can also do this to put images in your sig, but please keep these small. (see my sig for an example)

R26DAVE Posted 4, October 2008 Report Share Posted 4, October 2008 Was it just my imagination, or was Dish's new avatar HUGE, but now it is a more respectable size.......
