Qubic Posted 7, January 2007 Report Share Posted 7, January 2007 G'day Hefer81, welocme to the forum! Methinks you may be getting a few tech quastions to pass on to your dad! It's always greatly appreciated to have access to a Renault specialist I certainly don't regret the decision to buy an RSC, although I haven't had a high powered Japanese car. (I moved from a Porsche 924)
rmadrid-182 Posted 7, January 2007 Report Share Posted 7, January 2007 hello all thinking of buying a renault clio sport, downgrading from a worked r33 skyline,so hesitating a bit not knowing what im in for Hefer81- Go for a test drive and read the threads in this site regarding the car.. warts and all My JDM-biased car friends still talk to me.. heck I even had a "worked" Nissan Pulsar GTI-R before.. The Renault RSs aren't going to suite everyone, it appeals to a certain BFYB niche portion of the performance car market. If you want a car that's already like a mildly tuned NA JDM small hatch (i.e. Spoon, Spirits, Mugen etc.), get the Clio instead...it comes like that factory default. To boot, its a sleeper and insurance costs are relatively low. Better hurry up, Clios 182 are no longer in production, so a new one will be hard to source...
