RBH58 Posted 13, February 2010 Report Share Posted 13, February 2010 I've contemplated buying a Renaultsport on a couple of occasions in the, and I think the RS250 Cup is finally going to get me to take the plunge. My current car is a Volvo C30 T5 R-Design. Lovely little car but purchased as a slight over-reaction to 3 years of Alfa 147GTA ownership. After the Alfa I wanted something that didn't ride like a pig, have the turning circle of an aircraft carrier, and give you no clue which direction it was going to head in if you sunk the slipper in 1st or 2nd. But the C30 is too civilised and I'm thinking the RS250 looks like the best combination of civility and performance...and it's also a great looking car. There is a lot of expectation on the RS250 as Renault (IMO) have done really well with the current Meganes, improving over the years. I think they are in the top 10 of best driving cars. Having said that, the new shape is spectacular. Sporty, Euro Sophistication + a little porn. Not too far from perfect (again IMO). But then, why else would so many companies like mazda (and others that elude me right now) copy the overall style?! Long story short, if you have your mind set on it, and your wallet...full speed ahead. One envious already. Cheers, WOLF ps: Welcome aboard.
