  1. Me and avatars don't mix..not sure why it went haywire so have deleted until I can get it right
  2. If anyone wants an unused Oz Renaultsport sticker for $10 incl post please PM me. Ta David
  3. A long time ago, on this forum I think, someone even got the front carpet replaced under warranty. This to me would be the most obvious wear and tear. Geez Renault were obliging on this one..wouldn't you just buy mats from new and there'd be no problem...
  4. Great to see from such low numbers to start with..hell if I log in once a day it's taking me now 45 minutes to scan/read just the new damn posts... *saluting the Renault Sport Clio* HOT HATCH OF THE CENTURY
  5. Your a legend Paul! I'l be putting in my $9.99 David 3/85
  6. Count me in Paul for a fiver or whatever is needed David 3/85
  7. Sounds like a great deal...just do it! Couldn't agree more with Karls comments..some have nothing break or fall of and others have more than their fair share of issues...luck of the draw I guess. On top of the sleeper factor and what you've gleened from reviews, it's also relatively cheap to insure IMHO and has excellent fuel economy. The driving position is only an issue if you are very tall. The seats are the best I've EVER had in any of my cars..superb. You won't regret it!! Cheers David
  8. In addition the MKI also loses ABS, Side airbags and spare wheel. All weight saving stuff. Otehrwise same engine, same gear box etc. Karl, The Mk1 has all of these, including OZ F1 full spare, same Michelin Pilot Sport DC
  9. You nearly got it right Jo Jo...personally I love the Mk1's looks at the front much better than the Mk2, not to mention the F1 Oz 15"s. The Mk1's interiors are completely different to the Mk2, has a much more rounded look. The dials are white(orange at night) and the increments are nice @ 60/80/100 and much easier to read than the Mk2. Leather/Alcantara standard with side bags and ABS/EBD. No ESP so that makes it more chuckable! Interior is done with yellow/red/blue Renaultsport logos stitched into the front seats, against the mk2s logo in standard grey cloth. Bonnet is lighter, contributing to the 1035kg weight. I read somewhere Mk2's were slightly up at 1090kgs, but all mags, brochures etc say 1035, who knows. Around a track would tell comparing standard cars. What state are you in? There's a nice iceberg silver 81/85 going in Sydney for $23k with 38kms.. quite a good buy IMHO. Good luck, you won't be disappointed with whatever model you get! David CUP02L 3/85
  10. This is coming from a non-IT person! I've done it on AF, but there doesn't seem to be a link from this site for the avatar thingy or whatever it's called. So, how's it done Thanks David 3/85
