johnny12gafrica Posted 23, January 2010 Report Share Posted 23, January 2010 [Hello there fellow Regie fanatics! Just thought I''d join up here as well as aussie Frogs. I own the 12G Africa car - LBJ 401 well actually have since around 1980. It's back to a bare shell up on a spinner and will be painted in the next 12 months, a bit to do as you would expect. I have asked around variuos Regie communities for some assistance in tracking down some photos of my car before it was realigned in Africa in 1972. I have made contact with bob Watson who has been a great help and has supplied me with the shots that he has. In order to restore it to its pre Africa rally state, i need to have photgraphs from the left side and right side and the roof, where a twin engined light plane was used to monitor competitor's progress. Any thoughts, leads or suggestions would be most welcomed. Many thanks Johnny G
griffyn Posted 24, January 2010 Report Share Posted 24, January 2010 Welcome Johnny Suspect you're not likely to find much kicking around here that isn't on AF. That said, good to have you here
