  1. A week is a long time when waiting to get your hands on your new toy....
  2. Yeah mate, that's the one.I saw it when it was first listed but it was well out of my price range then, I hadn't seen it since he dropped the price though. Will need rear disks replaced soonish, but aside from that all pretty sound. Bone stock too which is nice. I don't really want a project car at the moment, just something I can enjoy!
  3. Blood orange phase 2 with one owner. Don't think he has removed the add yet so might get a glimpse there before the as is pulled down.
  4. Deposit paid, A week before I'm able to get it home though due to Tasmania and being an island. Excited - but annoyed. I want the car now! There will be a new ride thread up soon...
  5. God buy mate. That one went straight onto my watch list the day it went online. Looked very very tidy indeed in the pictures. Safe buy being one owner with all the big jobs done on it already. Just enjoy now! Cheers
  6. Yeah driven it. Really nice car and no expenses spared in its maintenance, $14k is just pushing it a little for a Phase 1 in my opinion. And the A/C didn't work, which put me off as the day I test drove it it was 27deg. The guy that owns the dealership that it is listed at actually own the car. Nice bloke but i got the impressions that he was not very neg on the price for this one.
  7. Geraldton is some 4 hours north of Perth. The car looks amazing though. With the low kms it would be a safe buy If you could convince the owner to drive it to perth and fly home, it would still cost approx $800 to get it across to the eastern seaboard. It is by far my favorite car for sale at the moment but Geraldton to Hobart =
  8. Cheers guys. Yeah owned just about every Subaru, Forester XT, bug eye WRX, classic GC8. Liberty H6.... and so on. Decided that i wanted something small and funky with some get up and go, but not your common hatch. Wifes car is the main driver (being diesel is good too). I only drive 3-4 days a week so fun is a must. All my research seems to indicate that they have only a few issues and very reliable. With two small kids these days I don't have time to be fixing broken stuff every second weekend! The hunt continues....
  9. Hey all. Just thought I should day hi. I have just become a member of this forum as I try to find my next car. I have pretty much always been a Subaru guy, but have just recently sold my liberty and looking for a hot hatch. Specifically I'm trying to find a neat Megane sport cup 225 with 5 doors. So of you know of any in Vic or Tas region link it up!. I have posted in the wanted section on here as well. So hopefully I can find something soon. Cheers all.
