Clio 197/200 is a slim market here, but the owners usually spend money on them from you guys as it's easier than trying to manage sourcing parts locally. Your website is fairly easy to navigate and lists many parts we would need for maintenance or even mods. You generally know what you are getting when using your website. I myself feel I have paid for at least a decent end of year party for you guys with what I have spent.

The gearbox clutches and TCU is a very massive problem that seems to come up form the ph1 after around 7 years it so. I would recommend being close to one of the specialists in the major cities as many mechanics to save you pain of finding a mechanic that knows anything about the car.

To be brutally honest about most hatchbacks, unless it's stoopit loud or something. Most people don't look twice at them. You will probably not even be seen or noticed by anyone unless doing something stoopit. Meganes look like Hyundai Veloster to most people that do not care about them. Most of the clios look like a run of the mill hatch also. Don't break the law and don't over estimate your ability to drive or control a car though. If you crash your insurance will be more than happy to tell you to f off.

I would recommend starting with rev matching on down shifts with day to day stuff, but do it with your foot balanced over the brake pedal, so you don't have to relearn foot position later on.

I find the hand and foot co-ordination is something I constantly find I need to work or improve. It's not just heel toe, it's judging how much to brake, when to down shift and then choosing a good line and accelerating while keeping the highest amount of speen and car balance.

I personally use these LED in my daily reflector housing 197. Have not had anyone flash me, and the cut off is sharp as the mimic the beam of a standard bulb. Throttle lag is normal in first and second gear. Best way to sort it is with a EVC throttle controller. They go for about 200 bucks online and feel like a tune below 4k
