Wingy Posted 21, December 2016 Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 Hi all, Picked up my new Clio RS200 just yesterday afternoon - looking forward to joining the community - nice to see its fairly active and hasn't been transitioned into a facebook group... Never had a Renault before now - toyed with Fords, Nissans, Toyotas, BMW's and Holden's before now. always second hand though so was happy to do a lot of tinkering myself. See you out there!

stromlo Posted 21, December 2016 Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 Congrats mate, welcome to the board. Great car, I love mine : ) When the time comes, there are a few recommended "changes" to make - search for intake tube removal and if you want a bit more peace of mind, hooking up a RX8 space saver spare for the boot. walkie86 Posted 21, December 2016 Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 Welcome and congrats mate. Any plans for her?
Wingy Posted 21, December 2016 Author Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 Thanks guys - I'll look into those changes - i was a bit shocked about the tyre repair kit feature only, so that'll be something i'll look into for sure. No plans at present... but that never lasts with me, much to the dismay of my wallet. Someone has already kindly pointed out that Renault Tech are very close to me... just what i need... a conveniently located tuning shop. The Jeffster Posted 21, December 2016 Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 Welcome to the forum, RenoTech don't "tune" per se but they can add go fast bits - there's a few threads on tuning options and Ace is looking to start up his own thing called Race Spec Tuning. Enjoy the car

chuckovski Posted 21, December 2016 Report Share Posted 21, December 2016 I wonder how Ace feels about that Ace's setup seems to be more race orientated from the explanation he gave me ... But I'm a total noob when it comes to tuning so I could be wrong

Safetyman reports that the Meg 265 spacesaver clears the front brakes ok if you have trouble locating an RX8 spacesaver. This is a useful addition also. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Renault-Clio-IV-Velcro-Footrest-Sport-Cup-RS200-GT-Expression-X98-4-Dead-Pedal-/161755225165 there is an identical product you can screw in if preferred. FYI i'm loving the car - finding every possible excuse right now to drive it had the velcro one in for over a year, never had any issues with movement. when we test-drove the car my wife was sold within the first five minutes of her drive!
