Last night i noticed that 3 of the new members each had unusual email domains, and when i checked the domains they were all identical, with no content... and all had been set up on the same day. Its not about the workload its finding the time to moderate/admin. We have 6 Admins currently. We ALL share the workload, so it (the system) stays. Its been great to not have any bandwidth issues/outrages especially now that the spamming bots are in check (although they do get through, from time to time) Thanks again for your feedback. Every now and then some members will post up suspected spammers that manage to get through. The Admin team on the whole have taken this task of vetting each and every new member as they sign up. We get a standard email and cross reference with the Memberlist and delete appropriately. There have been accidental deletings of some regular members and also some new one's too. So no regular reporting since this sytem has been implemented. Inappropriate posting re gambling, porn etc. have been eliminated. We have hundreds of spammers/bots trawling. This will mean that guests will be required to sign up in order to view threads, but may be able to see most topics at least. Guests can only post replies in the For Sale section but can post new threads in the Wanted and Website Feedback sections.
