markis Posted 16, January 2012 Author Report Share Posted 16, January 2012 cheers fellas ill post up details on the next track day. just a question with the 197 i just picked up. it does have a ridiculously high clutch pedal. is that normal? no slippage. but just rather high, car has 33,000kms on it cheers mark
domlebo70 Posted 16, January 2012 Report Share Posted 16, January 2012 All Clio's are like that. So long as it had enough meat left to let your change smoothly it's fine.
markis Posted 16, January 2012 Author Report Share Posted 16, January 2012 seems kinda odd. never driven a car like that. my brothers 182 isnt quite as high.. i take it the 197 are hydraulic clutches rather than wired like the 182? drives good. just like a new RS 200 AF1GP
markis Posted 17, January 2012 Author Report Share Posted 17, January 2012 so we couldnt find another 197 to compare the clutch pedal feel to. so my brother went out and bought a 197 as well. so he now has a 182 and 197 and i have a 197 haha pics coming soon. Apex Posted 17, January 2012 Report Share Posted 17, January 2012 If it were my brother I would have brought a 200 just to be 3up on him. Well done 576 brothers.
ozclio03 Posted 17, January 2012 Report Share Posted 17, January 2012 dont ask a dealer if the clutch is hydraulic cause they had no idea and were so surprised that my 172 wasnt
markis Posted 10, February 2012 Author Report Share Posted 10, February 2012 Pics will come soon =) Perhaps someone could direct me in the right direction, who in Australia/Brisbane can reflash the ecu, and supply me with an exhaust? Ktech wants £1000 for a catback and reflash... I remember paying $500 for a Turbo back for my evo VII back in the day.. Is it worth it? Minimal gains for a lot of financial outlay.. or I could go custom..?
