  1. Alessi is still there, just no renault. Renault went to brooks in wodonga (skoda and suzuki)
  2. Renault albury told me $1100 (though it's not Alessi anymore, if that's who you bought from?)
  3. https://www.renault.com.au/ownership/accessories for those who are interested
  4. Rofag has a few options : https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/m.html?_ssn=renault_sport_parts_by_rofag&LH_PrefLoc=&_from=R40&_trksid=p2499338.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC0.A0.H0.XMegane+iii+floor+mats.TRS0&_nkw=Megane+iii+floor+mats&_sacat=0
  5. Good to know, I had only ever heard it mentioned off hand without the negatives mentioned
  6. But... But... You're ashman! Hahaha Seriously though, if that happens in the future, I've heard ozone generators are quite effective at removing smoke smell.
  7. For anyone looking to buy the oil filter cup wrenches, be aware that the silver coloured ones you can get from china for $5-10 are too big. Even though they are listed as 76mm, they are actually 80mm. After getting the refund, I bought one of the Selta branded tools off ebay. I can confirm that they are a perfect fit.
  8. Is there a thread or sub-forum to post Renault related bargains (like consumables or similar)? I see that the RN0710 rated shell helix ultra 5w-40 is in the newest repco catalogue for $37 but couldn't see anywhere on the forum to share. Cheers, Ben
  9. My Astra is tuned for 98. The only times I have had issues with what feels like timing retard (lots of boost and noise but no go) seem to correlate with tanks of Caltex 98. I have not had the same issues with BP 98 or United 98. I don't use shell as it is usually much more expensive compared to BP in Albury.
  10. Yep, it is missing a locating pin/tab and the back half of a bracket the metal tab slides through. If I was to hazard a guess - some apprentice has jammed it back in, broken the locating tab which in turn has allowed the movement breaking the rest of it? 🤷‍♂️
  11. Thanks Carlos, I haven't seen that website before! 😁
  12. There's a new one on ebay for under $200 posted from the UK which appears to be the cheapest - otherwise I might have a crack at trying to repair it
