  1. These guys make big power but expect frequent piston knock and high temps (Only speaking for my own experience)
  2. I bought an RS250 Cup a couple months ago. Clutch shudder is pretty normal when pressing down pedal. I can't speak conclusively for reliability as I haven't owned it long but it's got a tune and driven enthusiastically by both myself and the previous owner - haven't had any mechanical issues. Apparently the Megane 3 is the sweet spot for reliability as far as Meganes go. Get one, they're awesome, really capable cars
  3. My 250 was tuned by ETuners by the previous owner in Melbourne and runs really well, roughly 200wkw, also had a downpipe and intake at the time of tune. He tells me it would give alot of cars a run for their money on a roll
  4. Budget depends on the car. Condition, kms, etc will be reflected in whatever price I pay. I was looking for an RB8 previously but the colour of this particular 250 was appealing. Thanks for the help all, will let you know what I go with if/when anything happens!
  5. Hi Guys, newbie here but not yet an owner. Hoping to get your blessings / seal of approval over an RS250 Cup on carsales: Check out this Renault Megane. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2011-Renault-Megane-RS-250-Cup-Manual/SSE-AD-6015268 Any red flags or issues that come to mind I should be aware of? Is the stage 2 tune a danger combined with high kms (116k)? Thanks! Apologies if this is in the wrong spot, as a newbie I'm not too familiar with the forums. Cheers, Oscar
