  1. +1 for a wheel balance and alignment before you dive into mechanicals
  2. I concur with the comments above. Assuming a full service history is available, it will tell you when the belts and water pump were last done. Thats the big one that you will either want done, or budget $1200 to get it done yourself when you purchase the car (if its due)
  3. Congrats dude, $14k is a damn good price considering ones with similar Kms have been going for the low $20k's, give or take
  4. Rock, everything mentioned above by everyone is absolutely valid. But Ill keep it simple for you: Its the most fun car you'll ever own and they are an absolute joy to drive. Treat it well and it will be fine. Would recommend to anyone who is a proper driver to buy one. Take it on your favourite twisty road and never look back

    Clio 3 Rs 20

Congrats mate, driving is always fun when youre in a 200. Another tip for you - when using a cable to connect your phone, use a genuine android/apple cable otherwise the cheaper brands dont interface as well.
  6. hahaha the manual had the wrong screen classic Renault
  7. Trophee should also have the RS Monitor. My 2013 200 Cup has Recaros and keyless Entry - no idea if they were standard for the late model 200 Cups or were options...
  8. I dont have anything intelligent to add except congrats and I had a 206 GTI and upgrading to an RS (Clio III in my case) from the luke warm Pug was the best decision I ever made. Enjoy yourself
  9. Thanks @yiannos18 Ill check it out. Definitely keen
  10. Thanks guys for the tip. apple3337 youd be correct! At first I wasnt overly keen on the red, despite generally being a fan of red cars, but its really grown on me and now I love it. The uniqueness of it also adds to the appeal
  11. Hi gang, I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first RS! Im absolutely head over heals for my new Clio 200 Cup. Ive always wanted one and Im glad to say its lived up to the hype! Its a Toro Red example, Gen III, 2013 with the awesome Recaro seats. Ive taken it for a spin down to the mornington penninsula, including the windy roads around Red Hill and Arthurs Seat and oh boy, it certainly is the type of car that reminds you how much fun driving is, especially with a 6sp manual. It really does defy belief the speed you can carry through corners and how much punch the 2L engine has.
