  1. (That rear badge is starting to look a little rude. Or maybe it's just me [emoji851]) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmmm, okay thanks - the SMF and clutch were only done 7K kms ago. I guess there's always a small premature failure rate with any component, however, so I'll have Renotech check it out... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To slightly derail for a moment, I'd be interested in knowing if the SMF feels any different to the dual-mass. I'm getting the 'check emissions' error come up every time I give the car any spirited gearing-down, so at least once a week. Additionally, I have a screech whilst riding the clutch in traffic. These things annoy me more than I thought they would. Anyway, that's just me - carry on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks mint, you're going to love it. Such great little cars, and so much value at the price-point. Although hard to avoid the slippery-slope of 'improvements', too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks to be a 2-door non-cup 225. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think billa had meant to post a link to the immaculate red WA car, but posted a link to the silver repaired Newcastle car instead. The Newcastle car was advertised some months ago, with the disclaimer that the front bumper and guards had been replaced and didn't match, so likely a front-end hit. PS: I think the WA red car looks the goods. Get an inspection done, fly over and drive her back! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmmm, can't you just purchase one and drive it on the interstate rego/plates until the interstate rego is about to expire? Alternatively, get it registered properly and apply for a refund of the remaining interstate rego? I've never bought a car that I was 'local' to, except my current Meggy - they've all been inter-city, inter-state, or international! Worth the trouble for the right car, especially as these cars aren't that common to begin with...

I think the seller is a member here - http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/24574-vic-2006-rs-megane-ph2-sport-cup-for-sale/?fromsearch=1 Seemed pretty desperate to sell on financial grounds back then. Good luck, so much car for the money, and definitely the best colour I started off looking for a black one, ended up with silver and then had a brief opportunity to get into a black one with lower miles and in better nick - but couldn't bring myself to do it, the silver had grown on me too much! 9. Hi folks, I'm Pete, and I'm new to the forums and to Renault, having just bought my first RS from a member here, Mick_0003 - http://ozrenaultsport.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/24274-nsw-eoi-2007-megane-225-sports-cup-with-quaife/ I've been on the hunt for a sport hatch since the beginning of the year, and more avidly ever since moving into a tiny lane-way in the city two months ago. It had to be practical enough to cart the two kids around; a fun performer, as I'm moving on from classic Porsches; European; and somewhat uncommon, as I hate driving around in cars that I see on the road all the time. The catalyst for looking at Meggys was a black 225 that was regularly parked at my old employer (Qantas), which always reminded me of how much I loved these cars when they first came out. Anyway, Mick_0003's ad came up on the classifieds here, and the rest is history. Mick was a great guy to deal with, and has already invested in some of the best mods you can get for these cars as per my sig. I've now got a short shifter on order from K-tec, and will look at intercoolers and a hard-pipe kit once the wallet is recovering. Would love to stumble upon an R26.R titanium exhaust and some RS Recaro Sports seats, but I don't fancy my chances! I'm trying to convince the wifey out of her current Touareg and into something more compact, like a Captur, it'd be nice to have the matching badges parked out back.
