  1. But you take him out, and put him to work in Pooraka... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. Tyre wear too probably Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. Can't believe this is an Aussie forum and no one has said SSV redline ???? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Welcome mate, we've met before unless I'm wrong. You were at a Swinburne University day at Winton? I was in the yellow Clio 172. Nice to see you found your way into the French car world. Sorry to hear about the last car! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Hi James, there is a really good rs250 in yellow for sale in Melbourne, owned by my mate who's name is also James. Check it out... http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/27023-2011-megane-250-cup-66300-ks-17000/
  6. The drivetrain is the same - stage 3 will be hard to do reliably and not many people have done so - megs aren't evos. Best bet for tuning is a remote RSTuner tune or there are a few off the shelf stage 1 maps through some other tuning companies. I'd be looking for history/record of the timing belts being done on an rs250, they are getting to that age.
  7. Only noticed after reading that Daz7 is in sydney that pickup won't work for me, so if anyone could be so kind in picking one up for me and posting it down to Melbourne town, I'd be forever grateful. Or if I can just update the order or something.
  8. I'd take one. I don't even care if the old ones are out of date, I have them around for the photos...
  9. I have 2, although in Melbourne...
  10. Ph1s will attract men, which is at least something, because the no ones attracted to ph2s. Jokes aside, ph2 is better to drive daily, but for a fun squirt I prefer the ph1, even when mine was stock it was a riot and I do prefer the cable throttle everywhere else but in traffic... Just replace the cat on the ph1 - it's a derpy design and definitely wouldn't flow very well compared to almost any other design! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wow! I'm a big-time lurker on the UK forums, and I'm certain you'll be surprised at how many people recognise you. If you move to Melbourne, you can service my car anytime! Welcome, and enjoy the weather!
  12. 197, the engines are all the same, suspension and chassis changes for the different models. As far as I know it's just 197 and r27, there was no middle ground. I'm no expert on Clio 3s though. There's a bloke called Apple who is. Haha R27 is easily liveable and would make a good daily/fun track car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Rust isn't the biggest issue here, but I'm sure it depends on how much spray the car gets. You can pretty much get a 197 for the price of a (expensive) 182. What's your plan for the car? If it's a daily, a base 197 would be the way to go, r27 are notoriously firm, and 172/182 are anything but refined or luxurious... Also, welcome! You'll find everything you need on this forum, including the car.
