  1. Agreed, they did my last major a few months back and are decent people to work with. Happy for me to supply the parts too which is a bonus. I plan to move all my mechanical work over to them.
  2. hahaha - that's years of data collection in a single post. Happy to help out.
  3. Gorgeous car mate and in great condition by the looks of that gloss 😎 As for rims you have a number of options but here is a summary of the spec range you want to be chasing: RenaultSport CLIO 197/200 Spec: PCD 108 x 5 stud Centre bore 60.1 8.0j ~ ET55 OR 7.5j ~ ET45 You can find a few options at demon tweaks, they have a good range and decent site. Ordering and shipping from the UK isn't as bad as it may seem when you compare local pricing. https://www.demon-tweeks.com/au/performance/wheels-accessories/alloy-wheels/ Common wheels seen in the Clio 3 realm are: Oz Ultra's, Oz Allegrita, Sparco, Team Dynamics, ATS GTR, MSW, Speedline Corse. Just as a ref, here are the factory wheels specs: P.S. Your wheels are the Interlagos Mégane Renaultsport 230 F1 R26: Wheel: Renaultsport 8x18 ET70 Mégane Renaultsport R26.R Wheel: Interlagos 8x18 ET66 Clio Renaultsport 200/197 Wheel: Speedline 7.5x17 ET68 Oz Ultraleggera 8x17 ET55 If you're concerned about weight, here is a really good reference:
  4. Try out Alloy Action, they have done a few wheels for mates and they did a good job. https://alloyaction.com.au/ Cost will depend on the amount of damage, shoot them some pics and they'll quote you.

Welcome mate, I agree the Clio is a nice piece of machinery. Come along to the monthly meet this Thursday and hopefully you'll get to meet a few other Clio owners including myself. http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/25937-[Qld]-Monthly-Night-Get-Together Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

hahaha - You crack me up Treza !! I would suggest drive it as it is for a little while before making any decision on mods. As mentioned the little monster is already a great package which you may find sufficient, if not you can do as Treza and un-standard your car
  13. Hey mate, its not rocket science however its not trivial either. The perfohub setup does complicate the removal/install of the struts. I've done both my old 225 and now my Clio 3, they have a very similar/same setup. If you are savvy on the tools then i'd say go for it, however assume you won't get it done in a day as we had trouble both times around [for different reasons] Also do some research, there are a few step by step guides around. I think meganesport.net has one in the how to section. As mentioned the Clio 3 is much the same setup so a Clio 3 guide would be just as useful. Good luck, take your time and you'll be fine.
  14. Dont get me wrong, the Clio 3 is an awesome piece of kit !! Its my pride and joy I have/had both cars and sold the Golf GTI PP recently for a reason, however i didn't make the Clio 3 my daily. I now have a Meg 3 for that job This compares much better to the Golf. This could be a long list, the importance of each is purely dependent on each persons needs. For example, i bought the golf as my kids were young and i wanted something my wife could drive as well ie. auto. Times have changed and my kids are now a little bit older so getting them to climb into the back of a 2 door coupe is not an issue - 4 doors - DSG - Suspension adjustment [sport, Comfort etc..] - Parking sensors - Rear view camera - fuel economy - Turbo - effortless power - resale value etc.....
