  1. did you end up changing the back box as well or just the mid res for now?
  2. Centre res for sure. Cutting the backbox out only creates drone ive heard. I removed my centre then changed my backbox for a smaller resonator after awhile to add more grunt
  3. yep do it! cheap and easy way to get abit more induction noise. also look to cut out the centre res for a better exhaust note, thats a must if it hasnt been done already!
  4. The difference between them is mostly aesthetic in look and feel. Obviously you have the pre vs post facelift front end, leather vs alcantara interior. Biggest notable difference would be the akra exhaust in the 275 vs standard stainless steel version and the Turini wheels which are lighter than the standard Steevs Its a great choice either way and wont go wrong with either!

    What a car!

Welcome and great looking car, sure you'll love driving her as much as everyone else here. I'd also say stick to the basic mods for now, tyres being number1 on the list if not already done. exhaust and intake are cheap and bang for buck. Join the NSW Renault group on FB, we do regular drive days and meet ups. hope to see you there!
  8. The Tibors on the clio are silver and 17" so you should be able to tell the difference. I've had both 19 steevs and 18 AXL (track set) on mine and the 18s are comfier in comparison. I personally like the machined steevs look so have kept those on. The variants are mighty confusing and theres still discussions about it all the time. Generally speaking: Cup = 18 wheels, leather seats, halogen lights Trophy = 19 wheels, Recaros, bi-xenon headlights (these are a good consideration as well) There are variations inbetween due to factory options, plus models etc but that'll give you a general idea. Dont get the "Sport" model because no LSD My suggestion would be to look for a Trophy model to get the nice upgraded bits and buy/swap for a set of 18s, they come up from time to time for sale. Good luck in your search!

    Hey hey!

Megs with the non-GPS got an extra cupholder where your menu buttons are but its really shallow and i dont really trust it holding a coffee cup. You can bring the centre seat down which has cup holders too. yep change out the centre res for straight pipe, any exhaust shop could do it for you
  10. Beautiful car mate and a well sort after since this is the only pre-facelift model that came in LY. any plans for it?
  11. Around the corner from Renotech there is a local muffler place that should do it for cheap. I got my back muffler replaced with a resonator there and think that costed me $250 or so?? It really isnt a tough job to do tbh
  12. Congrats on the purchase she looks super clean and well kept! heaps of threads on first mods to read up on. But mid box chop is your best bet for exhaust upgrades. of course you can repaint the wheels (whether DIY or professional) I repainted a set to satin black with spray cans.
  13. Congrats on the purchase! beautiful colour as well. I think the blue only came on the 250 model so you have a rare piece! 100% on the res delete, can also remove the foam inside the airbox and swap for an oil filter for bit more induction noise. Enjoy your new beast!
  14. I got red vinyl and did the front lip. Really like the touch it put rather than just black and white all over Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
