Took a new 2017 Clio Zen for a test drive

Thought the gearbox was slow and jerky in low gears

Cant remember if it has a manual override with gearshift ?

I realise there are no paddles

Still deciding 2017 Clio Zen or 2018 Polo Launch Edition with manual shift

Hey there are a few people here who would know but generally our expertise is limited to the RS models. I suspect it would come with manual changes by shifting the gear knob to the left and pushing it forward and backward to change gears. It could also be related to the EDC gearbox, which would be similar but I think better than the DSG from VW (I've owned the 7 speed one and hated it, I have the RS EDC and love it).

Also what year model is it? They had an update for the gear box which fixed a lot of issues.

Clio for looks, the Polo for perceived build quality if that's your thing.
I had the last gen Polo Gti 6R, the interior material is a step up from the Cilo if a little blend.
I would imagine the new Polo to be a bit funkier with that new dashboard.
