  1. https://www.holdmyphone.com.au/renault/megane/09-15/carphone/dashmounts This is probably the best solution. Can get mounts that go in various places specifically designed for the car. You then by the actual phone mount that bolts to the vehicle mount. I had this setup in a previous car and was great. Haven't bothered in the Meg.
  2. Looks like a very neat car! I have the PMS gear linkage, but wouldn't recommend the one I have for a road car, makes too much rattling noise. I think they have a few options to mitigate that now though. The main thing I like about it is it gets it into a much better position. When harnessed I couldn't get the standard shifter into third confidently. If I was doing suspension in a road car I would definitely do Koni/Eibach and replace all the worn bushings.
  3. B14's are a much more road oriented coilover. I've run BC's in the 172 and an E46 and been very happy. You have to spend a decent chunk of coin to do better.
  4. Fluid and pads, spend the rest on driving. Fluid and pads. Fluid and pads
  5. Mum hauled 3 kids around in a Mazda 121. 2 in car seats at the same time. Go figure.
  6. Meg 3 has seen more track use in the last 18 months than my dedicated Clio track car... The best track day car is a standard car with pads and fluid. Fight me.
  7. Stay tuned. I’ve just picked up my bixenon light project again. I loathe the Megane lights. All my mounts etc are designed and ready, just need a weekend to throw it at the car. Requires opening the headlight but that is super easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Advice Please :)

You still get some crackle and pops with the standard exhaust. Some would say too much if you do a res delete...
  9. I get that, I ended up missing the tinkering/working on car factor that I had with my last BMW so ended up buying a Clio to play with and take to the track. Didn't want to mess with the 5 year warranty in the end. I don't miss RWD as the Megane is just that capable. I do miss power oversteer though, a lot. If you have a bike as well that may already fill that tinkering segment?
  10. I was in the same position as you but also considering the current shape WRX with the FA engine. The FA engine was a much more refined option but at the end of the day I just couldn't see myself in one as much as I wanted to like it. Ended up test driving the Megane without no intention of buying one and fell in love. My WRX wouldn't have stayed stock either, my Megane has (save for a resonator delete).
  11. Famous will cover up to 10k for an extra premium iirc, better than nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Haven't made a claim with them yet, but the customer service had been good so far. Also, they don't do third party. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You can re-production red pack sticker from here: https://www.jestercreation.fr/megane-2012-c2x20089023 No idea what the quality is like or what the cost is for genuine stickers is from Renault AU (I know the pricing for Trophy stripes is cray cray). Not sure if this is "No, no one has done it" or "No, don't do it". You're either wrong, or offering an opinion that wasn't asked for.
  14. I find the Torque Pro delays to be the main let down. Has been a while since I used it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From memory there's stipulations on usage for a UVP? Ie. Only for transport from place of purchase-home or to mechanic and not after a certain time. Worth looking into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
