    Kangoo woe

There is class action lawsuit against Renault 1.2 engines. Check the web for details. You may be eligible for replacement
  2. 2016 is probably phase 2 facelift that have been improved. I would check service history, paying attention to gearbox oil change. Buying used cars is always a lottery no matter how good reputation thay have. Get mechanic to inspect the car before hand. Ask Renotech for opinion
  3. Could be lower engine mount. Needs to be tightened with lots of torque.
  4. If you look at the sticker on the door it tells you the recommended sizes of wheels and tyres. Deet gave you specifications. PCD is not negotiable. Offset - +/- 2 won't give you problems providing you don't go to wider tyres than 215.
  5. Clock the heart button 😂
  6. I would stay with Varta battery but any AGM should do. As for gearbox oil I prefer Motul Multi DCT. I change it every 10 000 km same as engine oil.
  7. No need to drop the oil if is not to dirty. But it's good idea. I had a chatter somewhere and I wasn't sure if it's timing chain or valves. One week after treatment it was gone.
  8. Get this product and run for a week or two before you start further investigations. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/nulon-nulon-lifter-free-and-tune-up---300ml/104058.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_Yvi786Q-AIVf5JmAh0MSAoREAQYASABEgKe2PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  9. Interesting. I was looking at these: https://titansuspension.com.au/products/renault-clio-4th-gen-rs-200-titan-sp-3-coilover-suspension-kit?rq=mk_renault~md_clio-rs200~yr_2012-2018
  10. I'm very disappointed with Bilstein B14. I would look for something with adjustments like above mentioned MCA, AST, KW
  11. Is there any difference between R-Link and MediaNav facia? I thought that outside they are the same, just innards are different.
  12. Torque Pro app cost about $5 in app store. Add Bluetooth OBD adapter from eBay and you have universal tool for any car. It will read and reset faults. It won't be as precise as dedicated or professional scanner but for DIY is good enough

Also, when I open the thread in new tab, I can't post replay. I can read the thread but can't reply. Firefox browser. Any idea why?
  17. Oxygen sensor for Captur works fine in Clio RS.

    My first Renault

Paddle shifting was improved in phase 2. Shorter paddle travel and some software tweek. Personally I don't have problem with gear changes. Works for me OK. Do you guys use the gear stick? It is quick.
  19. Nothing to be scared of. I'm suspecting drain plug wasn't tighten when serviced. Any news @ NeedRS?
  20. I've ordered one from AliExpress . Should be here in three weeks, hopefully.
  21. Oxygen sensor in my Clio started behaving erratically. It doesn't throw any errors on the dashboard yet but I've been saving logs in my Rs Tuner box. Voltage on the upstream one drops to 0 V, sometimes for five seconds and the time between min and max amplitude gets long as well. I spent hours on the internet trying to find reasonably priced original or equivalent replacement. Renault quoted $350 + GST. Original from UK $270 +shipping There are others within 50-100 Euro I have found that Bosh O2 sensor from Renault Captur for 1.2 Tce engine looks the same and can be had for $75. My question is: Providing the plug is the same, can I use Captur sensor? Are there any other parameters that would make it unsuitable for Clio 4?
  22. For lowered springs http://www.eibachdirect.com/p/9264810/eibach-pro-kit---renault-clio-iv-.html You can change them yourself if you have spring compressing tool. The job is not too difficult but it may be dangerous if not carried out in proper way. You can also do your own res delete ( I did myself) if you have tools . It is hard to advise when we don't know your skills and what tools you have. The same with swirls. Easy, providing you have the orbital sander. Few years back I paid for the one day course organised by Car Care Products. Learned basic things how to do paint correction. Can't comment on Bluefin. @Stromlo wrote his experience here https://www.ozrenaultsport.com/topic/35424-bluefin-upgrade-short-update/
