  1. This is the link to the CAMS site: Confederation of Australian Motorsport Hertz used to do a T*y*ta 86 in the Adrenaline collection too, but they still appear to do an RS Sport Megane Hertz Adrenaline
  2. Hi Paul, and welcome in advance. Check out the relevant threads in the forum for details of track days in the various states. You'll also need a CAMS licence and membership of a CAMS approved club. The MSCA days in Vic are some of the best organised, and they host events at Sandown, Winton and Phillip Island. You'll find loads of help on here. I've found the group to be the best, most knowledgeable and most approachable of any marque specific forum I've been part of. If there is an answer, someone here will know it, including sourcing a car (I have heard of people even renting a cliosport from Hertz - just don't leave your helmet in the boot by mistake ) If I can offer any of my limited knowledge or help, feel free to ask. Good luck and enjoy your stay. Ian
  3. I've tried to purchase 2 x stickers and a supporters thingy. I think there is an issue with paypal as it hasn't gone through, but I will keep trying. There isn't an option to purchase a supporters thing for 2018 listed, so I just clicked on of the others. Does that work or do I need to amend accordingly ? Many thanks, Ian
  4. Hi. Sorry to be off the pace, information wise. I was intending to support the forum again this year (2017) but I had to go back to the UK etc. etc. and I must have missed the update when stickers and supporters payment info was available.... I still want to support, happy to stick something in for this year before it's too late ! and I would like to support for 2018 plus 2 or 3 stickers. So...how much ? and to whom do I send it ? Many thanks for this most excellent of resources. Ian
  5. Hi Moosey. I've been out of the loop having had to return to the UK for a few months, so I missed updates on 2017 supporters payments and stickers. So at the risk of asking you to repeat yourself for the trillionth time, how do I purchase both ? The Online store doesn't appear fully functional....either that or I'm not. It's an each way bet Many thanks for the excellent thing that is this forum.......Ian
  6. I would certainly check the TDC / Crank Position Sensor or whatever it is called AND the wiring between it and the loom. The only reason I say this is that I have been troubleshooting a similar problem and I am pretty sure I've narrowed it down to a partial break in the wire which is also suffering from worn insulation and appear to have partially pulled out of the plug itself suggesting a less than strong connection. I haven't seen the other end yet. As Krappy mentioned, the original TDC sensor has a black plug connection, which is what I have. Fortunately I have a second clio with no such issues and a black plug connection, so I was able to put in a sensor I know to be working but still got the same problem. I am now trying to source a blue plug sensor and someone with small hands and soldering skills to handle the connection.
  7. Dammit. A black 172 and I missed it. I could do with a spare spare
  8. Hi Moosey, happy to support this most excellent forum with a supporters' tag and a sticker if they are available. I'm just a bit dumb and can't quite find where to do so Should I just wait for an update on this thread ?
  9. I'd like to renew my support too, so I look forward to an update. Thanks for all the effort that goes into it
  10. Nice car. Welcome. It's a great forum....imo
  11. Welcome. I've not been here long, but I can vouch for the fact that this is a fantastic online community and an invaluable source of knowledge. Apart from me, obviously !!!
  12. I only recently saw this topic. Happy to have purchased a supporter thingy, it's a great forum. Thank you.
  13. Can I just say that, without doubt, this is the most pleasant, helpful and informative forum I've ever had the pleasure to be part of. Great to see advice from people with obviously far more knowledge and ability (without sitting in judgement) and no elitism either. A refreshing change. In 2 monthsI have already gained a load of useful information and I look forward to becoming an integral part of things over time, for whatever my input will be worth All power to you blokes.
  14. Never thought of Gumtree. Thanks for the heads up, I got Goodyear F1 Directional for just over $ 100 each. A steal. Great advice, ordered replacements from EAI for $ 119 each plus $ 17 shipping. Nice.
