  1. I'm a big fan of the RS3's. They perform great both on road and track. Haven't tried ADO8R's but they have a very good reputation. Another tyre worth considering is the Federal RSRR.
  2. This is a fairly common issue mate. Unfortunately the locking mechanism needs to be replaced. What year model do you have? My car was 6 months out of warranty but my local Renault dealer was still happy to cover it under 'good will.'
  3. According to the service schedule, the timing belt should be changed every 4 years or 100,000kms. So if the 2011 model that you're looking at has been serviced correctly, then it should've been done last year. As mentioned above, the drivetrains between the models are the same. A tuned 250 will essentially make the same power as a tuned 275. The only differences come in the specifications. I'd recommend finding one with recaro's and xenon headlights. I'd probably also steer clear of the LE model as it doesn't come with a mechanical LSD. Don't expect huge power gains from F4RT engine. With the mods you mentioned above, you would be lucky to see 325hp. A stock 250 with some sticky tyres will still embarrass considerably more powerful cars at the track
  4. Hi Filip from a fellow Canberran. Can't say I've experienced this issue but try posting this in the "technical" section and you might get a better response. Good luck!
  5. Welcome and can't wait to hear the downpipe! We should look to organise a Canberra Drive Day soon. I would be keen to meet some of the other local OZRS members.
  6. Any good tyre fitter should be able to do this. However they can be susceptible to damage during demounting. The fitter will usually have you agree that they are not liable for any damages during the removal process. I decided to leave my 19's with the TPM's and run my 18's without them. A message appears on the dash that 'TPM's aren't present' which you can just scroll through and cancel. Alternatively, you can buy another set of TPM's for around $60 each from renaultpartsdirect.co.uk You'll just need to take them to your Renault dealer to have them programmed to suit your car.
  7. Nice roof wrap! I also can't help but notice an ACT plate in the second pic. I think there's talk of an ACT drive day in the next few weeks
  8. Mine was a private sale from Sydney. Has yours finally arrived yet?
  9. Hi all, Just picked up a white 2012 RS250 Cup Trophee yesterday. Having recently owned a Focus ST I'm loving the balance of the car and lack of torque steer. Looking forward to adding a few mods and getting it out on a track day
