  1. And yeah, both went the same way as far as I recall...
  2. I can't recall but I normally use a set of Irwin quik grips for compression rather than any special tools, heaps easier and they're useful for other things!
  3. Same rear calipers as a megane 3rs, I just used a large screwdriver to turn it, but yes it a wind-in caliper and the correct tool will make life easier...
  4. It looks like they have blatantly used a 6pk belt rather than a 7pk, that's far too clean to have delineated. Have you got more photos? There is absolutely no way the factory tolerances on end float would result in a timing belt failure!
  5. This is my old Clio ❤️ Such a little beast. Member's rides you'll find a thread about it. Reach out if you want to know anything! Enjoy
  6. I can't comprehend the mindset of some that decide not to hold insurance, even if just third party. I honestly think that if you can't afford third party on the car you want you/have, then you can't afford that car right now. Postcode and sex are the two biggest factors you'll contend with for any sports-orientated car. Side-note - imagine the outrage if insurance was more expensive for women controlling for all other variables... 🤣
  7. Seems like you have got this sorted, but if you're not going to track the car, I'd suggest calling Lumley insurance...
  8. But you take him out, and put him to work in Pooraka... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Tyre wear too probably Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. Can't believe this is an Aussie forum and no one has said SSV redline ???? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome mate, we've met before unless I'm wrong. You were at a Swinburne University day at Winton? I was in the yellow Clio 172. Nice to see you found your way into the French car world. Sorry to hear about the last car! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. Hi James, there is a really good rs250 in yellow for sale in Melbourne, owned by my mate who's name is also James. Check it out... http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/27023-2011-megane-250-cup-66300-ks-17000/
  13. The drivetrain is the same - stage 3 will be hard to do reliably and not many people have done so - megs aren't evos. Best bet for tuning is a remote RSTuner tune or there are a few off the shelf stage 1 maps through some other tuning companies. I'd be looking for history/record of the timing belts being done on an rs250, they are getting to that age.
  14. Only noticed after reading that Daz7 is in sydney that pickup won't work for me, so if anyone could be so kind in picking one up for me and posting it down to Melbourne town, I'd be forever grateful. Or if I can just update the order or something.
