Just out of curiosity is there any work being done to speed up the desktop version of the site? I've noticed it is quite a bit slower than the old version.

Seems like the latest posts are working again as far as I can see.

I've noticed a pretty decent drop off on participation in the forum recently. I personally don't even check forum as often as I use to now just because it is so broken. The bug where newest posts don't show up properly without clicking into individual threads is the most annoying.

One thing that really irks me with the new set up is that threads with an unread post usually show up bold (same as the old setup) but with the current layout it's extremely difficult to tell if a thread title is bold or not.

Ah I see, there used to be a link up the top that would do that but it seems they removed it. Not really a problem for me. I just read the forums I want to read and just click away the stuff I don't care about

Click the button next to the name of the forum, looks like quote marks.

By disapproving people with low amounts of posts or new users will significantly reduce the amount of scammers in the classified section.

Don't want to sound like a party pooper but the new interface feels a lot like the new tapatalk in that there seems to be a ton of wasted space. Everything seems to be magnified, less posts can fit on one page.

I noticed this yesterday and after trying to navigate new posts I gave up and just closed Tapatalk. This seems to be another case of a company trying to go down the social media route for a well established platform such as a forum, only to screw it up big time and just lose a ton of users. Guessing the guy whoever passed this updated pile of rubbish no longer has a job or close to it.

new threads dont show up automatically, they require admin approval takes a day or two

Bit off topic but I recently found out that talking on the phone via hand free BT is illegal unless your phone is in a dedicated phone holder! The cops and fine you for it and 3 demerit points It's a ridiculous law! I am not sure if it is only Vic or nationwide.

There is no such thing as a heated recaro as far as I know. You can either get leather recaros, cloth recaros or heated leather sports seats. Either recaro option has the harness inserts in them. Spec has changed so much over the years it's a bit hard to keep a track of.
