  1. Try for an 8:08 or a 265 Trophy. I'm biased haha but they're really reliable, only thing is the 4 year timing belt changes and most are getting on in age so repairs you have to budget for like air conditioning and engine mounts for example.
  2. You may get a brake fault coming up on the dash when the brake fluid level is low, nothing major but you just have to top up the fluid in the reservoir, fixing it will mean replacing the clutch line either with a factory clutch line with the damper OR a clutch line with the damper delete. Hope that helps.
  3. My AC went at 65 kays and the clutch line also started weeping at about same time.
  4. Sexy as car! Love the colour 🤗

    Hello

Congratulations on the Meg Mario, they're beautiful cars, great to drive and look the ducks guts mate! Welcome and post a pic when you can!
  6. It’s up to you, for me without RS monitor has been fine, I personally didn’t use it that much when I had my Clio mk III, so the ball is in your court, try to make a trip a perhaps test drive it?! Look at the paint if it’s been well looked after because of the sun in WA.
  7. Mandurah though so if you’re in Metro Perth- make that trip!
  8. Your prayers answered! White Trophy + for sale in WA now!!! 20,888. Get it soon before it’s gone.
  9. Reckon wait it out for a 265 Trophy+ to hit the WA market, they're the sweet spot as mentioned. I'm hanging onto mine for another year at least.
  10. Looks go to the Meg, driving experience also to the Meg, you’ll regret if you got the MPS.
  11. Pic spam hahaha. There was a time( 2 yrs ago) noone would buy it off me for 12 gees
  12. I miss my Clio... Would buy on a whim 😊
  13. Have a look at the avatar in my username and jberth1's avatar, the headlights receive a different treatment and your Reno badge is larger than ours. jim60t and yours are the same though I'm unsure if his is a 265 or 275.
  14. ^What he said, the bi-xenons are the ducks guts!
  15. Renotech did the same for me as well, they would have put the right one on no doubt. Happy days!

    New to the club

also look to cut out the centre res for a better exhaust note, thats a must if it hasnt been done already! This is what a good one sounds like when peddled the way it should be.
  17. You're already here, go for the Megane, no regrets mate!! Don't go for a cheaper car, the Megane is the most rewarding!
  18. Any idea what car she is looking to upgrade to?? No worries if she did not say 😄
  19. I agree - when you lock the car with the key card the fuel cap is locked as well. Works a treat for me!
  20. New car feeling! Congrats, 🤗 nice pick up.
  21. Yeah my brakes screech like crazy - seems to be a common issue, I've resigned to living with it. Stereo is crap from factory(no bass) even my Swift has a better system. I have not done the center resonator delete as yet AND my temperature gauge does not sit in the middle; more like left of center when driving. Will have to get my timing belt done soonish the car is on its original belts still, and just had my 60k service at Renotech - not cheap! That's an excellent price on your belt change but I'm too lazy to hunt around for a quote, sticking to Renotech as they're a bunch of good guys. As for the little dents, its part of used car ownership lol!
  22. Its in 8/10 condition, there a few minor dings on the passenger side - but I'm not too fussy but I am careful where I park at shopping centres after witnessing seniors scrapping into cars as they head in and little kids swinging their SUV doors!
  23. Nice car, congrats mate, there's a few of us on the beaches; head up West Head - gorgeous roads up that way. 😉
  24. Congrats mate! You'll love the 265 😀
  25. What, no Akra?! I run Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and they're goooood! Quick go source an Akra Evo and thank me later.
