  1. Congrats mate! Good to hear it got greenlighted by SWIMBO Considering your in brisbane, i have two simple words for you Mount Nebo - Sam
  2. Wouldnt surprise me one bit about cartwright, treated my mate like a fool when he went in to look at it, we were guenuine and acted as such but it seems their upper management there are a bunch of pricks. Try cory at bryan byrt, top bloke, sincere and loves his RS's - Sam
  3. Can you turn the beep off? - Sam
  4. If its not viable when the child comes along, when will it ever be? Just do it dude and sell it when need be, you only live once! - Sam
  5. So wait, if you option out the RS monitor for sat nav then you get no throttle adjustment maps at all? Thats so...optionist - Sam
  6. Welcome, friend! Pics when you can:) - Sam
  7. Throw me a bone here, she prefers a 2 seater 370z over the megane, but also makes mention of practicality? Women hey.... - Sam

    New here.

Hey gilbo Youll miss the 6L V8, but you will gain an appreciation for amazing handling, grip, braking, exclusivity and general seat of the pants fun. Theres ongoing debate about readily available and cheaper 250 vs (yet unknown price) 265. Personally, i like to have the newest possible variant at the time of buying but its upto you. The 265 will offer a more chatty exhaust though, with pops and bangs to add character. All the best - Sam
  9. Welcome Aydin! ( i assume thats your real name as well ) I think it speaks volumes about the megane when someone is calling the rs250 exciting coming from one of japans finest rwd turbo coupes, great to hear. Your probably used to a bit character from the SR20 but if its any consolation the new rs265, which should be landing hear sometime this year promises a little more power and a gruntier exhaust note with pops and bangs and so on. If you can hold out a little longer id be putting my name down for an rs265 as it improves on the rs250 just that little bit more (not that 250 really ever needed improving). Whatever your choice though, your guaranteed to fall in love. - Sam
  10. Welcome Sunshine coast hinterland has some great driving roads so youll definately have plenty of opportunity to stretch its legs. Enjoy
  11. Nothing wrong with ethanol, but RS engines arent designed for it I really wish BP would bring there ultimate 102 here, remember seeing it at a few BP's when i was in the UK
  12. ha! your the guy from the whirlpool forums who asked the same question. small....errr, internet nonetheless good to see you on here, and great to see you've decided on a renault, although it seems that decision was the easy part! all the best -Sam
  13. good point, and i think a lot of other rsport owners would think likewise and rightly so given such a small support base in australia. While the advantages are there, there'd be no room for error on an rsport as messing it up would be big $$$ and a LOT of messing around. Unlike the jap cars, where theres 3 bazillion parts/engines available at cheap prices. nonetheless, its food (fuel?) for thought
