Welcome mate, I agree the Clio is a nice piece of machinery. Come along to the monthly meet this Thursday and hopefully you'll get to meet a few other Clio owners including myself. http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/25937-[Qld]-Monthly-Night-Get-Together Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    Clio 3 Rs 20

hahaha - You crack me up Treza !! I would suggest drive it as it is for a little while before making any decision on mods. As mentioned the little monster is already a great package which you may find sufficient, if not you can do as Treza and un-standard your car
  13. Hey mate, its not rocket science however its not trivial either. The perfohub setup does complicate the removal/install of the struts. I've done both my old 225 and now my Clio 3, they have a very similar/same setup. If you are savvy on the tools then i'd say go for it, however assume you won't get it done in a day as we had trouble both times around [for different reasons] Also do some research, there are a few step by step guides around. I think meganesport.net has one in the how to section. As mentioned the Clio 3 is much the same setup so a Clio 3 guide would be just as useful. Good luck, take your time and you'll be fine.
  14. Dont get me wrong, the Clio 3 is an awesome piece of kit !! Its my pride and joy I have/had both cars and sold the Golf GTI PP recently for a reason, however i didn't make the Clio 3 my daily. I now have a Meg 3 for that job This compares much better to the Golf. This could be a long list, the importance of each is purely dependent on each persons needs. For example, i bought the golf as my kids were young and i wanted something my wife could drive as well ie. auto. Times have changed and my kids are now a little bit older so getting them to climb into the back of a 2 door coupe is not an issue - 4 doors - DSG - Suspension adjustment [sport, Comfort etc..] - Parking sensors - Rear view camera - fuel economy - Turbo - effortless power - resale value etc.....
  15. I have a Clio 3 and it's not even close to the golf GTi PP as a daily. Yes its far more spirited and fun but lacks what many chase for the daily commute. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  16. If you push your budget a little more to $40k you could jump into a mk7 golf R.... Nothing can beat them for the practical x money x performance package. Alternative would be the GTI PP as mentioned, if you want to stick to the $35k. However It must be said that these options aren't overly inspirational driver oriented cars. 17. As per Sjr657, Its July 1st 2014 see this link: http://www.renault.com.au/ownership/warranty If you call any of the dealers they should be able to confirm the warranty status for you.
  18. Hey mate, as No152 said buy with your heart. Otherwise you'll end up with a golf like I did lol !! I see the RB8 in QLD just sold, was that u ? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. I have an RB8 and love it - so my judgement is slightly skewed. So i say get the Redbull RB8 Mine has the 5yr warranty too - WINNING
  20. The 265 cup is well spec'd and priced. Looks like the general price for something like that is closer to $25k. Something worth looking for is a 2013 plate that was registered around mid 2014. Reason being you may get lucky as from around mid 2014 they came with 5yr factory warranty as std.

    Hi

Welcome!! Nice ride, it's much the same setup as my Cup Trophee [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  22. Well I've just been through the fun and games of purchasing a RS197/RS200. I settled on the 200 for the above mentioned items. As for the current ones on the market, - Silver Cup Trophee with Akra is a good buy and the current owner sounds very genuine, just note belts and major service are due. - The FRB 197 for sale is a gorgeous car and would be awesome if you are ok with slightly higher kms http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/27431-clio-my08-197-frb-syd/ - Also check out this one, may still be available - major service and belts are due. If was closer to the car this would have been mine.... Virage looked it over for me and they had nothing but good to tell. Only issue was the seat being worn which is VERY common. http://www.ozrenaultsport.com/index.php?/topic/27243-mel-2012-clio-rs-red-bull/ Good luck in the hunt.
  23. I actually really like silver... Send a little rarer. Although I ended up with a LY cup cause of the deal i had on the table
