  1. I've shipped wheels with tyres fitted as follows: Place cardboard on both sides, trimmed to just smaller than the tyre diameter (maybe a double layer on the face side). Wrap the tyre/wheel completely with heavy duty shrink wrap (available from packaging suppliers). Do about 10 layers. This way the wheels can be rolled for easy transport to and from the truck.
  2. I have had good experiences with Direct Freight Express recently.
  3. Welcome. Will Dodson at dodsonautogarage.com.au located near the Showgrounds is the go to man for Meg. III servicing & repairs.
  4. E-Go now state that they do not ship car parts that are not packed in their original packaging. A big disappointment as they were my #1 choice.
  5. Speedo at an awkward angle? Never noticed it. Difficulty in removing oil filter without making a bit mess, now that's annoying.
  6. There is insufficient contrast in the text vs. the background. I have to strain to read the content. Make the default text black (and bolder) so that it can be read by us older users. Thanks, Robert
  7. Sorry Dave., you’re right. His belts are due anyway. My 225 Cup is on its 3rd set of belts, but still hasn’t reached 100,000km. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Timing belts are 60,000km or 4 years, whichever comes first. Looks like yours is due now. Vibration sounds like it is a balance issue, and I would suspect the Chinese? brand front tyres. Michelin PS4 are recommended by many (including me). Try Sport mode, it may satisfy your desire for increased exhaust note. As for a local (non-dealer) service specialist, especially for timing belts, I have had experience with Manta at Richmond. They are very good, but may be pricey. Many have used Eurogarage, but I visited them and there were over-run with crappy non-runners outside which concerned me about parking scratches etc. The timing belts on my Trophy-R are due, so I'm investigating all options. I've had the same issue with intermittent start/stop but didn't worry too much about it.
  9. I think Matt205 still has some for sale. See the For Sale thread.
  10. My Cup racer had a big hit in the rear quarter (see my ride thread). I had a paintless dent guy do the majority without drama and then a crash repairer/painter do the rest by conventional methods. The end result was pretty good (but not showroom) due to prior race biff and barge damage, but it was way cheaper than a rear quarter panel replacement. (I bet any money that Renault Australia would not have a panel in Australia). That scrape looks easy peasie. $500 is my estimate.
  11. Advo, I can oblige with a ride through the hills (or similar). Send me a PM to arrange.
  12. Just to confirm: No issue when using Chrome.
  13. Daniel, I'm using Explorer most of the time, but I can use Chrome as well, as it is the preferred browser for Uni.
  14. Daniel, In your reply to my post, your profile took up 3/4 of the width of the page (on my PC). That wasn't the case prior to the skin update. The actual message was limited to 50 characters width. See screen dump attached.
