  2. Hey guys. Ended up selling my Megane a few weeks ago. Very sad to see it go, but the car was 100% wasted on me. Now the proud owner of a 2019 JF3 Honda N-Box Custom. I'm still going to be active on the forum, so if you ever need anything or have any questions, either shoot me a DM or tag me in the post. Cheers!

  3. Hey all. Just picked up a 197 in Sydney. Aiming to get on track next year. Will hopefully take the rest of this year to sure up anything the car needs and save some money for consumables. Any advice appreciated I believe the car has got the maf sensor mod to make sure it sticks and a better motor mount. Currently on nankang semi slicks that are atrociously loud lol. Other than that not to sure. I'm not the most mechanical minded but hoping to learn more with the car. Cheers!

  4. My understanding was prices aren't bad in the UK for any Renault Sport vehicles. I'd just sell it there if you are 100% on selling it. Otherwise bring here and sell to me for cheap 😁...

  6. Hey guys, Short term lurker, first time poster! Picked up my 2011 Megane RS250 Cup Trophee this morning and will be saying goodbye to my 2011 VW Mk6 GTi this afternoon. So far I'm loving the car and look forward to learning all of the little intricacies that the car has and how it all works. The car has an intake and the resonator delete already done so I'm pretty chuffed about that, and I just need to get used to having 3 pedals again after getting around with the DSG for the last 3.5 years! Completely not a plug, but I'm the motorsport category manager at Brakes Direct so if anyone from the community needs any pads or rotors for your car, please feel free to reach out to me through the work channels or via here and I'll look after you guys as much as I can! I look forward to catching up with you guys at some point in the near future! I'm based in Brisbane at the moment so will be keeping an eye out for anything that's happening in the area. Ben

  7. The time was right for me to move on. The reality was that I was using the car to commute for 20 min each way on the highway and I just didn't need a car like that for that application. It was completely wasted on me and I'm glad to see it go to an owner from within the community who will use it for what it was made for. Also, my twins are nudging 5 years old now and getting them in and out of the back was getting painful. The van won't be stock for long so I might create a build thread somewhere for it. It's not going to be heavily modified, but it is getting a few little customisations here and there.

  8. Hello, I'm relocating to Australia and own a Clio V6 Mk1. I was going to sell it over in the UK but should I import it to Australia. If I import it to Australia I'll probably only keep it for 6 months so anyone interested in buying a Mk1 Clio V6

  9. Might also make it easier for noobs who perhaps don't know the difference between generations. Also, maybe we drop the 1,2,3,4 Maybe we could have for Megane. "That one with the big but" "The popular one" "The one your wife lets you drive on weekends" Or for Clio "The popular one" "The popular ones heavyset younger sister" "The one your wife said she would actually drive" In an effort to be PC, replace wife with Partner or whatever..

  10. G'day guys! My name is Mladen and I am a proud owner of a 2006 RS Megane 225 cup. I'm based in Melbourne Australia and I bloody love this car!! I have a few questions, I would like to hear more turbo spools and flutter.. from what I have gathered a K-tec induction kit will do the job, problem is it will cost an arm and a leg to import this in from the U.K. and I was wondering if I can achieve the same or similar results with a K&N setup? which will be half the cost (minus the heat shield plate). Also wouldn't mind hearing a few more crackles and pops as the cabin is completely soundproofed haha. Would love to upgrade the muffler but don't know how big or what type or even where to tell the exhaust shop to chop off. What suggestion would you all have to achieve these 2 things? My budget is $500aud which comes to just shy of £300 I have attached a photo of my RS and look forward to connecting with you all, much appreciated! Mladen
